33 Black Frog: An American Story - film screening and Q&A with filmmaker Andre Ferguson

Filmmaker Andre Ferguson's documentary, "33 Black Frog:  An American Story" tells the story of his pioneering father, U.S. Navy retired Chief Petty Officer Eddie L. Ferguson, one of the first Black men to be a member of the Underwater Demolition Team, the forerunner to the Navy SEALs program. Eddie Ferguson grew up in the Jim Crow-era South and didn't learn to swim until he was 22. He will make a special guest appearance at the event.
