L.J. Black, a Winchester local, began writing after the death of her late mother. Her books Altair and Hope & Fire incorporate finding a sense of purpose and a spark of power within young people. With two books currently out and two more on the way, we are excited to host this LGBTQ+, steampunk YA fantasy author!
