Our annual blood drive is a fun and tasty way to boost the low blood supply that plagues our area every summer. West Oaks Farm Market is the perfect location for a summer time blood drive with their spacious, air conditioned event room, playground for the kids and outdoor music entertainment starting right after the blood drive at 5pm. Two bands will play into the night and refreshments are available from the market. Blood is a perishable product that can only come from volunteer blood donors. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished, according to the Red Cross.
