Defend Democracy/Hands Off Rally

The LWV of the Northern Shenandoah Valley is a participating partner in the national “Hands Off” Day rally to bring attention to gov't actions affecting every day Americans. This is a nonpartisan opportunity to express what you would like the gov't to take a Hands Off approach on: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans benefits, National parks, Education, Smithsonian, Immigrants, Cancer research, LGBTQ+, etc. Bring your handcrafted posters! There will be speakers, music and a march.
