Magic Lantern Theater Presents That’s Dancing at Handley Library

The Friends of the Handley Regional Library System and Magic Lantern Theater are pleased to bring That’s Dancing! to Handley Library on March 14^th at 2PM.  Free and open to the public, the film is a documentary about dancing on the screen, from its origins after the invention of the movie camera, over the movie musical from the late 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s up to the break dance and the music videos from the 80s.  Gene Kelly hosts a compendium of great moments of dancing in the movies, from Busby Berkeley to Astaire & Rogers to the Nicholas Brothers to Sammy Davis Jr. and John Travolta -- not to mention the indomitable Kelly himself!  The film is rated G; 104 minutes.
