Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources at H.N. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including HR sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage performance management systems to ensure employee evaluations are conducted fairly and consistently.
  • Administer workers’ compensation programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Utilize HR software such as people matter and ADP for data collection, reporting, and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Help manage departmental budgets related to human resources initiatives.
  • Address employee conflicts through effective conflict management strategies to maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems, particularly People matter and ADP.
  • Proficiency in payroll including deductions due to the court
  • Exceptional budgeting skills to manage HR-related financials effectively.
  • Expertise in performance management techniques to drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • Skilled in HR sourcing methodologies to attract top talent.
  • Proficient interviewing skills to assess candidate fit for the organization’s culture, core values and needs.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to support HR initiatives and improve processes.
