Job Description Summary:
The Building Attendant/Custodian is responsible for keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. Key duties include cleaning floors and restrooms, emptying trash, restocking supplies, performing minor repairs, and ensuring overall cleanliness and safety. The role may also involve training to support NW Works’ custodial contracts and filling in as needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean floors, surfaces, windows, and restrooms on schedule
  • Empty and manage trash and recycling
  • Perform minor maintenance (e.g., light bulb changes, unclogging toilets)
  • Maintain safety and report hazards
  • Manage and store cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Set up rooms, clean spills, and assist visitors
  • Conduct and document monthly inspections
